First Vice President Jack Parow and I attended the IAFC 2002 Strategic Planning Session in Colorado Springs on October 17-20, 2002; the session was very successful and well attended. There were over one hundred attendees; of the one hundred attendees 27 represented theStateChiefs Associations.In attendance representingtheNewEnglandStateChiefs Associations were Chief Steve Allen President NH Fire Chiefs Association, Chief Kevin Partridge MA State Fire Chiefs Association, Chief Tom Weber CT State Fire Chiefs Association and I attended in two capacities representing the New England Division and the Maine Fire Chiefs Association.

I would like to thank all of the venders and the  States Chiefs Asscoiations of Massachusetts, Rhode Isand, and New Hampshire for their donation towards the hospitality room in Kansas City. The hospitality suite was a great success and well attended, on Sunday evening we held a celebration party for Chief Bob DiPoli, the party was well attended, standing room only, people were also standing in the hall way. In addition, I would like to thank Fred Sorrento, President of Air Cleaning Specialists, Inc. for sponsoring our breakfast in Kansas City.  A list of those who donated towards the hospitality suite follows:
